I'm trying to get all of the powder coating or paint off of the middle of the wheels. What is it? Paint or powder coating? I can't get the stuff off without sand paper. It has taken me forever to get one section done.

I've tried paint thinner and oven cleaner. All it did was take the old clearcoat off.

I want to get this stuff off so that I can polish them out. HELP!

Go to the parts store and can a can of Aircraft Paint and Finish remover. Get the kind in the spray can. Okay this stuff is super strong on metal and skin(read label).
Works best if the rim and enviorment are above 70 degrees. Just spray it on and let it sit 15-30(enjoy bubble show). Then use a plastic scraper. 1 can is about $5. Good luck

Then they have the cleaner , polishing compound ,(and all the polishing wheels you need) and then the "Artisian metal polish and the Glisten PC protectant all in one kit $129.00. check out their web site at the address above.
