Its coming along pretty well. My buddy thats the master of this swap took some pics for me a few weeks ago and I figured I would post them up.
Specs about the setup and other pictures at my website in my sig. I have some measurement pictures too if anyone doing the swap needs some info. Thanks

Right now I am finishing up getting my intercooler pipes, downpipe, crossover, headers, etc... all coated (black), next is the fuel system and than some tuning and it will be on the street. Next is the rear end.

It has been an expensive swap yeah. A lot more than I thought it was gonna be. But it is gonna be worth it and plus you don't see it to often in 91-92 birds. It was only real expensive though because I pretty much did A LOT to the motor and the rest of the setup. Freakin custom frount mount alone is gonna run me 1400 and thats not including the coating work. Sometimes I don't like to think about it. lol.

But basic stuff you need are some parts from the 89 TTA, an 86-87 GN motor, H&R Parts or johnsperformance.com has the motor mounts, if u want a front mount, a custom one is a good idea since one person made a fmic for the 89 tta and they are hard to find now, tci makes an adapter so u can bolt a buick motor to a chevy trans, than you can use the stock headers, but the downpipe will have to be modified to fit (aftermarket, I used a terry houston 3") and I even kept my A/C. But u need an 86-87 GN a/c compressor and custom lines ran. There are other small things like an 89 TTA fuel pump relay, oil pressure sending unit, etc... but the list is kinda big. Not the easiest swap but far from being impossible.

What size turbo and how are you going to deal with the tuning?

Tuning was done through Fullthrottlespeed.com which came highly recommended from all the buick guys. I just have to drive it around when everything is done and make sure everything runs smoothly. Also picked up one of these little guys.
