Pair of Daytonas
My friend and I met up to look at a '84 Recaro T/A that is for sale. I was in a hurry and couldn't take any good pictures, but here are a few to look at.

Looks great together!
Somewhere, I have photos of my old car club, with three 15th Anniversary Trans Ams lined up, all members in our club!
Glad you are both having fun in the nice weather!
George

Dan,
The '84 Recaro was a decent car but definitely not worth the $6500 he was asking. It was repainted, and the seats were slightly worn. I recall it having around 96,000 miles on it. It was also a L69 T-5 car.
Thanks George!

Hmm.....makes me want to go out and get a Daytona! And I thought I was dead set on an '82 Recaro T/A.
I know its obviously not the focal point of the picture but there's an '83 Daytona parked behind the '71 T/A. This pic was taken at Trans Am Territory at Road America/Elkhart Lake, WI in 1984. This was a GM backed event that traveled around the Mid-West and many of the engineering and design staff were there! I wish they would bring them back! The old GMC motorhome AKA "Trans Am Traveler" is rotting away in Detroit at a GM storage lot next to the 1989 Fiero prototypes
