Any tips pertaining to removing GFX?

How long should it take me?

I am just removing them to prep for paint.

Effects are relatively easy to remove. You need 7mm(i think, its for the top of nose piece below the hood) and 10mm sockets, deep and reg w/extention, 1/4 drive, wrenches in 10mm and 7mm. I used needle nosed plyers for the plastic clips that hold a bit of ground effects on.

For ease, remove the headlamp assembly and all lights prior. The rear bumper is all plastic clips and the bottom effects aren't too hard to remove, just don't force anything. In all, being an amateur working late nights, it took me 1 night to remove the pieces, but 3 days to complete the preparation.

My tip, time isn't a concern, do it right and don't break the underdoor effects. And strip it initially with poly-safe chemicals and then detail sand it to save you a lot of time. Use the flex agent, or suffer the fate that Josh 91RS has had to deal with.
