Removing parking light cover

Removing parking light cover

Ok i unbolted the whole cover and now i need to take the clear front cover off. But it wont come off. Is it not supposed to come off?

I dont beilive its supposed to come off but if you heat it up you can pull it apart. I know other members have done this.

Yes I'd like to hear more about this as well. I cut out a clear Lexan plate to put on there, but I don't know how to get the old one off...
