Are your lugnuts rusting?

My lugnuts are starting to rust..and it really makes a rim and the overall car look horrible. Is there a manufacturer that makes a stainless set or something??

I just checked Summit...they want 15 bucks for a set of 4. Our cars take 5 per wheel...so...I've have to get 5 packs....sounds like this is going to get expensive

Replace your lug nuts. Maybe buy some sockets with nylon/plastic inside of them. Helps protect scratching off the chrome. These sockets are a little expensive however.

yes I'm with firebat... I've worked at a tire store and for mag/rims and high end vehicles we use sockets with a nylon insert (and sometimes nylon sleeves) to avoid scuffing and damaging lugnuts and rims. Chase down your local Snap-On or Mac truck, he'll have what you need. Expect to pay about $40 for the socket. (or more without an account?)

good luck
