Wheel Identification

hey guys I got these wheels from a friend down the road from me he sold em to me for 40 Dollars so I figured why not I acually like them but I would like to know that type they are? They look close to stock camaro wheels but not quite they are 16x8.5, I was also wondering how wide of tires I could put on them?

Thanks in advance

Kyle

Yes you can. As long as it's saved to your computer somewhere and sized to the right specs, you can attach them all day. I prefer to use 703x528 mega pixels.

Don't know what wheels those are but for an 8.5 inch wheel I would go with no less than 255 and no wider than 275.

it also depends on the height of the tire, ie 60 series, 50 series, etc.
I have 275/60/R15's on my 15x8" wheels. They're huge. You might be able to do 295/60/R116 if such a tire exists. 265/50/R16 would be ok too.

You sure the offset and such is ok for your car?

Yea I took one of my wheels off and put this rim up in there and there is lots of room everywhere, they were also off of a camaro so I figure they should be alright, if not they didnt cost much at all.

Thanks for the replys!

I'd say they are an older wheel, probably made in the 80's so it could be a number of brands. Clean the inside up real good, a lot of companies had the name on them.
