rear stripes, all way down?

I'm painting my 85 Iroc white with Rally green racing stripes. Rally green is an old chevy muscle color on 67 to 69 camaros. I am bringing the stripes the full length down in the front but not sure about the rear. All the way down in the rear or stop diredtly after the wing/spoiler? I searched for rear stripes and found nothing. Opinions and Pics would be great. Have a good-one!

i disagree...i think it looks more professional when they stop on the rear decklid...that's why GM went wtih the shorter stripes on the anniversary cars i.e.: 25th, 30th, 35th...

that's just my opinion but i really like the ones that stop on the deck, and i also like the ones in front that start on the hood....

there was a guy who recently got his car painted.. can't recall his name at the moment.. anyway he has the front starting around the nose badge area (nose badge removed) and ends on the decklid near the wing.

so far thats the best look I've seen! I'll see if I can find a pic.

Why not I never really understood a statement like that if you don’t have t-tops I say strips should go all the way over. I mean I know the factory ones we just on the hood and hatch.

I'm torn on the rear. Decklid is good, but i dunno..all the way down on that red/white combo is hot. I like the front to extend past the hood, but just to the top of the front clip, not all the way down to the gfx. Like in my ghost stripes.

if you look at any of the old race muscle cars, they only have them on the hood and rear.

but if you like them on the roof, on the chin spoiler or all the way down the rear bumper, them go for it!

but for me i dont like. but thats just me.

If you're gonna go all the way down on the front, then you have to go all the way down in the back. This way you don't confuse people.

And you should probably put them on the roof too.

Hood, and decklid. Just like the 92 heritage stripes. I don't like the stripes all the way down or on the roof but that's just me, if you do then by all means do it up it still looks good.

Typically chevy's have them just on the hood and decklid, while the ford patterns tend to go all the way down. Monteman's look really good for going all the way down, but I typically don't like them all the way down.
I say stick with just the hood and decklid, most of the time cars can't pull them off all the way down...
