There was some 85-87 single line iroc wheels on ebay that had been powdercoated red. I thought they looked like ***, but that was me.

do a search for Iroc on ebay, if they are still there, you will see em.

Yea. an all silver powder coat would be pretty nice.. you have some different choices of silver as well. depending on the effect you want it to have.

Ive never done IROC rims but I have done tons of motorcycle and other rims.

Make sure you put a clear over any silver.

You can see some silver rims in the BG here

Eastwood has a black chrome powdercoat that I think would look pretty sick on some irocs, kind of an anodized look

Heh what a coincidence, I recently got my 16" snypers done in black chrome, and my intake done as well, in black chrome, from Columbia coatings.

Its a very weird powder to shoot because it has odd characterstics with edges, you'll notice that on the edges, it's black, and on the flat, its more silver. My car has been down for about a month for some drastic changes, but I'll take some pics of the intake and wheels tomorrow.

Here they are. It's very overcast so keep in mind that in direct sunlight, they aren't this dark. They shine a more silver like in TPI383's picture when sunlight hits them, so it's an interesting color, but it's not for people who don't like dark rims.

Also I havent re-installed the ROH centercap symbols, if anyone can help me in finding where to buy new ones, I'd appreciate it.

Polish the lip of those and I think it would look awesome. This is what I plan to do with my SS rims

Polishing the lip is a very battled over subject I think. I personally dislike the looks of dark rims with polished lips because it breaks the color between the rim and the tire, and it just looks out of place. So no, don't plan on polishing the lips.

They are extremely good for a weekend car, very bad for a daily driver, as they are very soft and not great at all in the rain. They run about $160 a piece.
