Dents

About....a month ago I was out with my gf and went to sonic, yeah well this is when I first got my car and I wasnt use to the long front end(cause I drove my moms Mitsubishi Galant) and I turned a little too early, there is about a dent 5 inches in diamiter and about 4 inches in heigth. How much do you think it will cost to repair the dent?

Can you post a pic of it? Where is the dent? If it's in the fender or door you may be able to pop it out yourself. I had a Celebrity, and someone kicked my door. So I took the door panel off, pushed on the back of the dent and pop!

Total cost: About 45 minutes of my time.

I agree with you, Mike. Sometimes that works pretty good. Sometimes you can still see the edge of the dent (since metal stretches and work-hardens), but it's better than a full-blown dent.

I feel so bad for these people that drive around with dents in their urethane bumpers. If only they knew that they could just park the car in the hot sun, reach up behind the dent, push it out, and keep it in the sun for an hour or two!
