Yep. I took off the SLP caps and put on the WS6 ones so they look more stock.

I'm not sure other than its Dupont paint the car was painted before I got it.

I know the color has changed ( for the brighter) based on all the coats of Meguires wax I have in it.

Thanks, Shawn

Just check with your ISP to see what you can do about preventing hotlinking. I know for my webserver I can specify what hosts I want to allow to hotlink and you can block everything else. But this wouldnt work if you had a cardomain profile as well and wanted to link to your pictures (since it would be the same website).

they appear to stick out in the back, but they are flush with the 1/4s. im thinking about dropping it a little and putting in some kind of 17...but its nearly impossible to find another gunmetal z with charcoal gfx. the only other i have ever seen posted on this thread a little earlier.

EDIT: does it look like i can drop it with the same setup i have right now?

see, but then the debate starts again as to whether or not you can cut prokit springs and not risk damaging them, because the way they are coiled (progressive, not progressive)

MMmmmm, cancer. stupid previous owner installed mudflaps, and the screws caused the wheel well to start to rot. *** I hate Ohio.

Its paint. I got these for free as I sold my originals years ago...( bad move..) I would powdercoat if I were you. The aluminum needs to be prepped and treated with a chemical before painting and clearing. Not very chip resistant though. If you are not pulling them on, and off at the track, on the weekends, all the time, they should be fine. I dropped the lugs a few times, and chipped them. I just touch them up. I got chrome F/B center caps, and chrome lug covers on EBay, and thats it. I saw the red Scoggin Dicky third gen in GMHTP, with the same color rims, and got the idea for the rims there.

Nice pics orr. That IROC wheel was the best looking of all the Camaro wheels, IMO. Im not picking on you, but did you consider having the weights put on the inside? It really cleans up the appearance. Thats how I have all my wheels balanced, the stockers, and the Convo Pros.

i think sometimes you have to put them on the outside, if i remember correctly from doing mine. and also, some people put the weight on the tire instead of the rim, but i think it makes it look dumber with a big silver thing on a black tire than throwing off a rim a little bit.

thanks for the compliment. i think they are the best factory wheel out there on any fbody made. and most any car except maybe the C5 anniversary 5 spoke vette wheels and the Z06 wheels. i also love the new C6 wheels. but the double line iroc wheels , they really fit the car. just wish they were bigger and wider.

oh i really hate the wheel weights.... i wish they werent there or on the inside. i might look into gettin them put on the other side. gotta see if this can be done

And lastly pic 3. Sorry for some hazyness pics. You get the idea tho. I love my stock rims (kept them) But i wanted some wider/bigger (16 x 8 VS 17 x 9.5) I love the firehawks wheels cuz they still have that stock look to them. But wider/bigger and a much deeper dish that looks awesome on our cars personally. This winter i will be painting the inserts black to make the spokes slim.

lookin good nick! very nice car you have there. those wheels are sick! love the way they look, esp on birds. and do paint the insides black. it looks better that way. and just drive the thing man. and get a 2800stall converter. you'll love it
