I know this is old but...

it is a dodge M4S. That is what was used in the movie the Wraith.
2.2 litre 4 cylinder engine that exceeded speeds of 194 miles/hour. designed and constructed at a cost of 1.5 million bucks.

Hey there, 86 Tojan.

Sounds like you have the same car I do. Mine is red with black interior, wood grain, Recaros, etc... Mine came from the plant with a B&M roots blower and B&M SuperJection, but 2 motors later (cooling problem) I bought it for $3500 bucks... with the blown motor. I plopped the blower back on after the motor swap but someone massacred the computer harness, so I went the easy route and did a Holley 750 double pumper.

It's been sitting and waiting for a new motor (#4) for a few years now. I've been slow in getting it back on the road because Russ Knudsen dissappeared for a few years along with his injection molding copyrights. And my dash is cooked. I should be getting something done now that I've found him. I hate to risk breaking something I can't fix, u know? Especially since the chassis has just over 10k miles to date. With 3 motors in the wind.

Anyway, Merry Xmas to all here. I'm going to bed

I believe this thing you are calling a carrab is actually called a carralo and that is why you cant find any information on it. I actually own one and it looks exactly like the pictures of the red one posted. Mine is black however.

I've always had a place in my heart for those aftermarket remake TG's.. and a place in my gallery also. Here's a few that i've snagged over time. Found more in this thread to add to the collection.

Re: I have an 86 Tojan. Anyone else have a Tojan???

I've seen a couple in person, and after checking out all the pics on here I've come to the same conclusion, they look like a kit someone started in 85 and never quite finished in the early 90's. BUT...there are a bajillion third gens around and these are some of the few legitimately rare ones. So I can appreciate that.

And I've always wondered what one would look like if someone "finished" it, ie. reduced body gaps, cleaned up the more random lines and added more modern wheels/lighting. Any one try that?

I also have one of the rare Tojan Firebirds. It’s been in storage for many years and I’m finally ready to restore it. I’m having a problem opening the hood and wonder if I’m even doing it correctly. When I pull on the cable handle down on the kick panel next to the drivers seat nothing happens. I know the hood is modified from a standard Firebird and wonder if there is a different way to release it. I sure would appreciate a little helpful advice. Thank you in advance, Dennis of Sacramento, Ca
