GFX question
GFX question
im going to get my car repainted(same color:teal green) would it look better if i took the gfx off and took them with the car to get painted or to leave them on? the adhesive or whatever holds them on is letting go and i can see that is very dirty. what type of adhesive should i use to get them back on after i get it painted? also has anyone had their center section of their spoiler move back about 1/4 inch? can i just take that off and put it back on and not have it slide down again?

It would probably be best to just take them off and get knew adhesive, i'm not sure what they use exactly, aren't they just bolted/screwed on? or do they use an adhesive along with it? That way if they were off the paint could get along the bottom of the car too, just be careful not to scratch up the new paint when putting it back together. And when you mean moving back the center part of the spoiler 1/4 inch, you just mean on the hatch right? maybe you just need to adjust your hatch, i think there is an article in the tech section on doing it, you couldn't just move it back 1/4 because you would have to drill new holes and everything.
