84 TA, how did I do?

Just purchased this??? 7,100.00

Couldn't resist

Any comments?

1984 Pontiac Trans AM 15th Anniversary !!!!

47,000 Original Miles

Original Engine - 5.0 V8 HO (305 Cu in. Ho ) Carburetion- 4 Barrel

Transmission - 5 Speed Stick Shift

Recaro Seats in great condition

Colors -White with Trans Am Blue Graphics

T-Tops (they dont leak)

Air Conditioning

Cruise Control

Power Brakes

Power Steering

Power Windows

Power Door Locks

Wheels- White T/A rims with Daytona Tires

Matching Numbers, The Real Deal!!

Interior- Is in great original condition, Recaro seats are leather and cloth and in good shape, all instruments are in great and working condition, power windows still work great!!..there is a small tear hole in the carpet on the drivers side floor by the feet , other then that its really clean..

Engine Compartment- clean and original - engine compartment and engine looks well maintained. Clutch is excellent, shifts great! Car Is Mechanically Perfect

Body and Paint - Really good condition, Paint still looks new, all decals and logos are original and in good shape. No rust. Body is really nice, there are a few very small dings that are not really noticable on the doors and one on the front fender..they are not dents, just small dings. definitly could fix them with very small repairs...the body is excellent! All glass looks brand new, T-Tops are in perfect condition

A good friend of mine has one that looks just like it, was also a L69 (305 HO) with a 5 speed, but the engine was toast when he bought his. The interior is just as mint though. That's alot for any thirdgen, but it's a beauty! Here's a pic of his with my 84 TA and 2 other friend's f-bodies:

I love 15th Ann. TAs!!! Yours is in amazing shape. Its even better that its the l69 with a 5 speed. You are truely lucky to have on in such great shape with such options. Enjoy it!!

Do you plan on modding it at all or are you gonna keep it stock?

Image removed- Welcome to the boards, be sure to check the rules. Thanks

awesome, I bet your excited. I was 2 years ago when I got mine. I bought mine for 1,500 bucks. the engine was toast, valve broke and hit the piston, I'm sure you know what comes from that. Previous owner destroyed the power steering, A/C, heater box, and some of the wiring as well. There is a rip in the driver seat and some bubbles coming through the paint on the left rear quarter. Other than that, it's in great shape with 107k on the OD. I however am nore restoring it to original specs. I have a 406 expected to have 500 to the rear wheels with t56. We'll see this summer

I get **** all the time too for modding it. Without orignal parts, it's to no interest to me to do so. But I have debated getting a low milage orignal one in a few years if the deal is right.

I had a 84 TA about 10 years ago, white w/black pinstripes and black decals/ground effects! I was very young and wore the car out, modded it, changed it from an auto tranny to a 5-speed, put a 383 stroker motor in it, and give it hell

Sold it and have always wanted the 15th anniv. edition, but I most likely would put a little tint on the windows, make the exhaust a little deeper sounding(might need to get rid of the cat ) Might put some louvers on the back, other than that, keep the mileage low, keep her clean, and treat it with respect
