Possible to have T-Tops cut in?

I was wondering if it is possible to have t-tops cut into a hard top camaro. Wondering if anyone has had it done, or how much it would cost.

I don't know the cost off-hand, but their have been people that did it. From what I've heard, the job was not done well and the T's ended up leaking Good luck with it if ya go for it

The best way to approach it would be to cut a t-top roof off of a donor. Then cut your roof off and weld the t-top one in place. Alot of people have asked this question and in the long run don't end up doing it since its not worth it.

Instead, the easiest way would be to buy a t-top car with bad interior and no motor and just swap your good parts over to it.

However if you still want to do it, do a search in either the body or fabrication sections

T Tops

F Body Camaro's and Firebirds with the T Top option make the Car Body Structurally Unsound . The Body can warp and twist under High Performance Driving . The Hard Top F Bodies are for Racing , the T Tops for Show . Just Open a Window Dude and be Happy !

It would probably be easier/cheaper to buy a T-top car. But yes, it can be done.

A simple four-point would probably be enough for a street car. I'm not saying you need 8 or 10 point for a tired old 305 or 350 with T's.

the amount of steel above the window is different. its would be stupid to have a car with half the roof and the same amount of structural bracing. it wasn't designed for it.

if your car rolled youd be F***ed up imo. just think about it
