so i want to get a new hood before i paint my new car i want to get a 2to 3 inch cowl but the hoods are 430 bucks.so i was wondering if i just get the add ons would it look bad.has anybody put one of these on and had any toruble with it.or should i just wait and get the 430 dollar hood?

 

add on as in cuttin your hood and adding one?

i think that'd be more work than its worth, plus it might want to pull up or split in a year or so. haven't seen anything good coming from taking a stock hood and adding a cowl. I'd just fork over the cash and be done w/ it myself.
