that's cuz 8" wide is what you need to NOT use spacers...

Width of the rim has nothing at all to do with needing adapters or not

CamarosRUS here are my two suggestions, though the price will probably scare you.

haha...i have those wheels already, 17's on my jetta. they defenitly look sick. i wish the jetta would have been able to fit the 962's with the fat dish though...

now that you mention it...i might grab those and paint the spokes black (thats what i planned to do to the jetta anyway but the spokes matched my paint perfectly)

oh and ZZ4 86 Z28 those are Fiske wheels, probably over $3000 per set, wheels only

wait...black84z28-4spd are you sure those 962's will work because my set (i didnt think they made more bolt patterns) are 5x100 and 5x4.5 whatever that is metric. they will fit mustangs but not camaros...

mustang is 5x4.75 just in case you were wondering. and if im wrong, then fbody is that and mustang is by 4.5 i just know that those are the two different patterns.

yes i know...mustang is 5x4.5 and fbodys are 5x4 3/4 (which is 5x120.xxmm).

there might even be adapters to go from 4.5 to 4 3/4 but i doubt it because they are so close in size

you dont need adapter...they make them for 4th gens....just need the spacers...the 18x9.5 are 160 a pop, the 17x9 are 140 a pop...can't beat the price

I dont know why you'd run an adapter with those wheels, to clear things up, the sets they sell to 4th gen owners are the 5x120 MM, which they will bolt onto our 5x4.75(120.65MM) bolt pattern like BMW wheels. They are available in 18x8.5 with 35MM offset which will come out to 5.75" BS, simply running one of the brake upgrade kits available would knock you back to the typically ideal 5.5" BS up front, or with stock brakes just running the factory rear slip on spacers. In the rear the 18x9.5 with 35MM offset will be 6.5", again simply running a factory slip on spacer and you'll have a very nice fitment, or the 18x8.5 again in the rear, and no spacer, allowing you to properly rotate tires.

Without at least 2.5" spacers those wheels will not clear the front hub dust caps. It takes 1.375" to clear the hub itself and then the dust cap will stick through the center of the wheel.

ok, wheelmax doesnt have them anymore...damn those look good with that dish.

355ss youre right because i cant run the dust caps on the rear of my jetta because of the wheel design.

but i wish they had these with black spokes so i didnt have to paint them...id probably get over the spacer issue. too bad they dont come any wider than 9.5" though
