New Rims!

Hey guys just got back from picking up a set of ROH Snypers in new jersey from a member on here. I got 2 17x8 and 2 17x9. They are solid no bends no nothing just clearcoat problems. I only got a picture of the 17x9s as the front 17x8s have tires on them that are shot and im gonna take off tommaro at my shop. Later this week im gonna get the aircraft stripping and the power washer out and get these things cleaned up. I doubt ill have to do much polishing as under the clearcoat these things look like new. Should i re-clearcoat them or just polish them once a month with some mothers mag polish or something?

Ill have some pics of the car in a couple of weeks after i order some tires and finish my grid taillights.

Any suggestions on the tires? Im prolly gonna go with the Avon Tech M550 A/S as they look like a great tire for cheap. I know the ideal size would be a 275/40 on the rear but what about a 285/40 will i really get any advantage or will i just get the extra buldge. The extra $20 for the bigger size doesnt bother me but i want the most performance from these tires.

Anyway here they are:

They look like a good match for your car. Personally i dont like the ones you have on there now so those should be a great improvement.

Id really like to see someone one day put some ronal firehawk rims on a heritage. I think that would look amazing...

just strip them and polish them and then occ polish them up . I have just polished rims and so do a few other memebers . If you drive your car in the rain at all you might want to consider the clearcoat . I dont drive my car in the rain so i dont need em clearcoated. I did get stuck in a little dounpour once and they looked like hell after and then i needed to polish them to make em look good again . Also whats the bs on the 17x9s. I think you should go with the 285 40 17 , it will be nice . a 275 doesnt look big engough to me on a 9.5 so i think a 285 will look good on a 9 .

lol you shoulda saw what i was driving in...pouring rain on the highway couldnt see 2 cars in front of you...this car is driven everyday so yes it will see rain. Im not sure what the offset is all i know is these are bolt-up so no adapters. They should tuck nicely.

As for the fate of the cragars...it depends if i get a good offer on them but until now im prolly gonna hold on to them make them a winter set of rims. They have 4 brand new tires on them also.
