aftermarket pedals

Anyone know where you can get a set of aluminum pedals? I have seen the overlays and they suck. I know this sounds *****, but hey, I am tired of my foot slipping of the clutch and brake.

Well.. believe it or not. Walmart sells are pretty kickass set of pedal overlays. Yes, they are overlays, but they look real good. There are some aluminum ones for cars that have standards in them. They didn't have them for auto's though (blah). The install only takes a couple of minutes, and REALLY dresses up the interior of the car.

I have tried the overlays, but the ones I picked up, the only ones they had, would not fit on the gas pedal. They might work if I could find a set that fit.

I'm going to drop in a WC T-5 soon, and realized that it needs new pedals. The stock rubber covers were worn. So what I'm gonna do is cut some 1/4" aluminum, shape it to the pedal, and cross drill holes in them. Then I'll mount them with countersunk fasteners. I'm not sure if I'll polish them, or brush them. That is how I have seen them on actual race cars like GT-1, and Nascar.

I have some overlays on my car and in order to get the gas pedal on I had to take a sabre saw bit and cut notckes for the screws to go through with. They wee just barely catching on the edge of the pedal. BTW it is an auto
