Needed items: Air craft remover can (2) (get it at Wal-Mart for about 2$)/"Mother's Mag polisher"/2-3 small brushes/soft towel/Bucket of water (to rinse brushes and towel)/ Water hose/

Here we go....Remove tire, drain air out of tire, remove tire, (If your going to do this with the tire on make sure you DO NOT get it on your tires, because that air craft cleaner EATS EVERYTHING in its path, and make sure you wear gloves) Spray on tire and let it sit for about, 10 seconds, after that brush away untill you see the clear coat peeling off, once you've got all the clear coat off rise off with your water hose (high pressure) after that use your towel to dry it off completly then get your Mother's polisher out and dap some on your rim and make sure you rub it nice and good with your finger and let it sit aswell for a few seconds so it absorbes all the grease you cannot see, and you will be supprised!!...After that slap your tire of and spray it with some "Black magic" tire cleaner and your all set

LET ME KNOW HOW IT GOES! Good luck
(This takes alot of time I'd do 1 wheel a day just so you don't rush and screw things up.)

Heres how mine looked. ~~~~~~~~~~~>

Opps one of the close up shots didnt show up ill post that here. Anyway the **** isant coming off easy...What kinda aircraft stripper are you guys using? It is bubbling and i can scrape it off but lots of spots are not. Im using a decent amount, covering the whole rim. I was also doing it in the shade. Its over 70 degrees also, so im following directions. Also is it wierd that this stuff isant effecting my skin? Ive got the stuff on my fingers and it doesnt burn/itch/turn red or nothing. Thats why im curious if im using a ****ty kind. The stripper did manage to take the nail polish off my gf's toe nails lol. Anyway here is that other picture. Thanks for the help btw, how long did it take you guys to completely strip 1 wheel. Maybe im being too impatient...

edit- i am letting it sit for at least 10 mins normally about 20 mins

Damn, if I had my tires dismounted, I would have bought a few gallons of stripper and a metal vat and let the suckers sit in it for awhile, then just pulled em out and wiped off the clear.

With my wheels I found some patches that had better adhesion than others. Some of those just had to be sanded off when I was polishing.

are you making sure the rim is completly dry before putting the stripper on? water pretty much stops the stripper from working , blow it off with a compressor till shes bone dry.

also using a pressure washer to get the leftover clear off works great.

ya its actually going good right now. Im almost done stripping 1 wheel...just takes time and scraping. I think it was a combination of everything together that it wasnt working to its fullest. One thing that is bothering me is that the sprayer gets clogged constantly.

Gunny your gonna be jealous...

Alright guys next question i shall bring(might be a few questions)...What should i do with the inserts? Paint them white? Or just sand polish and clearcoat them? Im not sure at this point if white would look good. Here is my finished project for today. 1 down 3 to go.

As you can see in the picture the inserts are kinda chipped/faded whatever you wanna call it so i gotta do something with them cant leave them as they are...gimme some suggestions!

mods- if you can delete my first picture and keep this one up, thanks!
