Waxing tips

My car really needs a wax. I was wanting some opinios on what wax to use and some tips on the actual waxing itslef. How to reduce swirls, and make deep shine and so on...

Well I have a black Camaro, and finding the right wax was pain.. I did find a wax (finally) that works really well.. "Mothers" wax did a really good job. What I do when I wax is a panel at a time, and make each one look it's best. Or you could go from one end of the car to the other. by then the wax has the right amount of haze, and you can finish it off with the towel.. Hope this helps

I have heard from proffesional detailers that Meguires Gold Class is the best wax you can put on your car. Just let it dry to a haze and then buff off. Also, remember to never wax or wash your car in direct sunlight. I mean never. Water and wax act like little maginifying glasses that fry your paint. If you don't have a garage than just wait until evening or do it very early in the morning

I used Mother's California Gold when I first got my car painted. It looks great, but it tends to collect in seams and edges and was an all-around pain to work with. If it dried too much, it was a workout buffing off.
