polishing 91-92 camaro wheels???
polishing 91-92 camaro wheels???
i read the tech article for poishing wheels, so is that all i need to do? i read somewhere else about using different grits of sandpapaper and so on, but the article didn't mention anything about that? i am hopeing to get a chromish type shine from polishing, am i aiming too high? TPI383's rims look good. would i get good results from doing it myself, or would i be better off haveing someone do it for me? any idea's or suggestions? a set of 91-92 rims already chromed would cost $800, so i'm looking into saving some money and getting simular results. what i'm trying to get to is, what would be the best way to get the best shine out of polishing my rims? would i need any type of clearcoat as well either? none mentioned in tech article. hope you can help.

You can polish your own if you have the time to do it. its easy just time comsumming and can get aggravating.
if you do it i sugest you have them clear coated.! i did not and have to keep up the polishing to keep a shine.
Good luck.!!
