Tinting Idea...(suggestions, have others tried this?)
Tinting Idea...(suggestions, have others tried this?)
So I'm looking at the spray cans I'm using for my taillight blackout, and the stuff is actually intended to tint model windows, it just works well for my purpose, too. Now what I'm wondering, is would it be even remotely possible, with enough of this stuff, to tint one's hatch? I know it sounds ghetto at first, but if it worked, it would be great. No film cracking and peeling, no shorting of defroster wires, etc.
So it is doable, or would it be too hard to get it to spray evenly? If it went blotchy, it'd be REAL bad, I know. Suggestions? Call me white trash? Anything?

I think that it'd be a utter ***** to get your windows/hatch glass perfectly clean - clean enough to ensure no "fish eyes" or spotting or anything. I dunno, try it on a regular piece of glass and let us know how it works!
