Polished TPI Plenum

This is the TPI intake plenum I just polished for my buddy. Looks pretty good, he was originally going to go with a satin finish but I wasn't going to allow that.

what did you use? sand it first? rouge polish? dremel, die grinder? how long did that take you?

Well I work for a wheel refinishing shop, and we also do polishing... Which I am slowly moving into. The polishing division that is.

Basically I palm sanded it from 180 - 400 and then hit it with the buff. It took me about 45 minutes with these tools.

Like a stock VERY dirty manifold.

I don't know how you'd polish that by hand man, it would take FOREVER.

im actually attempting to polish my tpi setup also, i got the plenum to look just as good as that and i still need some wetsanding and actual polish. Got instructions from the main page on this site . i got the plenum to 600 and im working on the runners now. those arent going to come out as nice as the plenum though.
