ok heres the story. I'm a dumbass. and my paint sucks.

paid 460 to have my rims refinished a while ago. they looked awesome.



them on the car



wouldnt you know it im too cheap to buy new snow tires for my z28 rims. so i drove them in the snow and ruined them. see here;



so i take them back to see if anything can be done. they say they will do them again free of charge. Alas! im a dumbass with bad luck and i get a phone call the next day. -they cannot be refinished again, as they are too thin to take down any more. they have to be sprayed a solid colour. since they were solid gold when i got the car; see pic here



so i drive down and pick out gunmetal, which matches the GM Charcoal metallic of my lower stripe.

Heres what they look like now! I KNOW I NEED PAINT SO BAD THE FLOWERS DIED! and the car looks really high in this pic because i took it immediatly after i had the car jacked up and put them on.







any comments? anyone wanna buy me a paint job?

 

The paint can wait but please get ride of those whitewalls. I also see you have a garage why not attemp to paint it yourself if money is low. The wheels look aggressive though the tires just make them look alittle granny style.


So..........
1.) Get some better tires
2.) Paint the car yourself........I would go Sebring Silver personally.
3.) Post picture of your new badazz Berli.

 

thanks for the props and suggestions however i rent a room in the basement of this house. my car cant fit in the garage.
i bought the car from a granny, its a 2.8 v6 i dont need any agressive lookingness i think. i mean it doesnt even have a rear sway bar. and it came from the factory with whitewall. i have z28 rims and a set of 17" 245 40r on ROH ZR-6 wheels also when i want to pretend to be a fast v8

none with the roh's they arent mounted yet. theyre actually sitting on my glass coffee table in my bedroom and leaning against them is a Kamei front gfx kit from 1990. im a good shopper, but a bad procrastinator.

 

this week ive had 3 people say they liked my car and 1 say that he would rather take the bus.

im starting to think about flipping the whitewalls.
