Opinion on Striped/Feathered Bird

Ok im almost ready for paint and ive pretty much shaved EVERYTHING...im also going to use 91-92 aero camaro gfx and was thinking of putting a design similar to the 35th TA anniv feathers but hand laid out of my own head...just wanted to see what people thought before i did it

BTW NOTICE: these would be ghosted into the paint and then possibly pinstriped in a slightly less ghosted color

also plz understand this was QUICKLY laid down and i would take much more time and they would look perfect...ive already reworked them a bit after these pics just to my own viewing satisfaction...if more pics are needed to make a decision let me know

I think it would look good as ghost graphic so I say go for it.

I was once going to go with 91-92 camaro ground efx on my 86 T/A, which would be the same body style as an 89 GTA minus the fender vents. Put them on and those gnd efx just didn't flow with the rest of the trans am ground effects. They are different in size. I would imagine they would maybe match an 84 or 91-92 trans am's ground effects a lot better.

I'm all for a new paint scheme on thirdgen firebirds that looks good. Need something for the firebirds since the camaro has the hockey stripe.

Do it. That'll look damn sexy ghosted. Esp. in blues. Or reds or greens or greys or oranges for that matter.... I wouldnt be suprised to see most people on the boards not like the idea tho till you do it.

i agree on what you guys are saying ...i think it will look sexy as hell once the car is lowered significantly and i have my 19s and 18s on...im gonna do some griding in the rear wheel wells and slap some 295 30 19s out back...i think the feathers will look unique, give a little more to the shaved body, and sexy once its completed...itll be the last thing to be done during the paint process...just less clear to ghost them in...so ill c what i think about the car with just the paint by itself first...but i want many opinions

Here's an idea that might be similar. The bird of prey bird. Might look cool on a thirdgen.

yeah i def think ill end up with something close to the 30th anniv style...actually two of the lines i drew up were almost identical to the 35th but the 30th is very close as well...yeah im not into the full graphic...i dont want it looking overboard but muscle stripes just dont work on the birds and the feathers are great looking so i think i might add a couple more small feathers toward the front of the door much like the 30th anniv and then it will be my decision after seeing the paint laid down whether or not to do them

the color will be stunning enough...im sure of that

thats something that either needs to be photoshopped or actually painted. i think it might look sweet, but you never know...things like that can look tacky
