Whats up all. I just got a 92 Rs about 2 months ago. It's purple right now, looks pretty good except for the rear spoiler and front and rear bumpers. I'm going to get it painted fairly soon (after I put the engine back together) and was wondering what you guys thought of these two color schemes.

1. Gold with black. Gold body, black spoiler, gfx and stripes. (thinking of buying blackout tailights and rear hatch louvers as well)

or

2. Orange and black. That sort of bronzy, red-orange color. same deal with the black. I have an Iroc hood with black louvers so I may not bother with stripes.

Tell me which one you think will look the coolest.

 

I don't really think the black spoiler would look that great. However I think the Orange with 25th anniversary stripes would look great!

I am going to purchase the hood that you see in the picture below (I stole this picture from an advertisement). Currently my car is black, but I wanted to paint in a "Sunset Orange". Something like they did with the 35th Anniversary edition.

 

Neither! Gold and black looks like a trans am, plus i hate ground affects being painted a seprete color. Then the orange and black looks like Halloween. I would go plain black, since it seems like your wanting black for th body.
