Cleaning Stock Wheels
I have found it very tedious cleaning my stock wheels. The best stuff I have come accross for cleaning out brake dust, etc. is Grease Lightening, but even that doesn't get it all.
There are some nasty stains that I can't seem to scrub off, speficially where old tire weights had been tapped on, etc.
Any thoughts on how to clean these up nicely?

the ones in your sig look pretty clean to me... lol but im guessing you are talking about your backup set. i used that fast orange stuff from wal-mart and it worked ok didnt remove all the stuff but it did a decent job.

Yes, unfortunately the car in the banner is not mine. Although my Camaro is black, and I will be purchasing that hood on Friday; I am still running on stock wheels. I too have used the fast orange in the past, it does work pretty well, but it is a lot of work. I was hoping they made an over the counter product that I could spray on and wash off, etc.
I heard from a friend that someone make's a special kind of acid that you can spray on there to remove any and all dirt, grease, dust, etc.
Also, the chrome wheels in the picture look stock, but much more shinny
Can you buy these somewhere or are they dipped?

If the clear gets too dirty they get real hard to clean. I usually use Eagle One all wheel cleaner.
