I just want to wax under my hood louvers. How do I remove those louvers on there? (I am afraid of cracking the plastic)... Do they lift out, or is there a certain way to remove them without cracking them? Anyone's input most appreciated! It is an 85 Iroc....

 

I never owned a Camaro with the louvers, but I would imagine you would have to remove the under hood liner to see if they are bolted on.

 

They are bolted down underneath the hoodliner. All you have to do is remove those nuts, and they lift right off. Be careful though, the threaded "screws" that go through the hood are part of the louvers, hence the same cheap plastic, and they often break.
