There is no reverse light with that setup, gonna have to make something custom. I never really planned on doing that but wow that is a good deal, gonna have to watch that auction hehehe who knows maybe it would be cool if the price was right ...

I wish sombody would step up and make that same panel with C5 Covette lights. What a perfect world it would be.

That thing in that auction is actually something I might try.

I thought it was those ugly panels that slipped over your stock tail lights.

When it's actually on the car, you can easily tell it doesn't belong there.

seems like if u wanted to u could always mod the corvette lights for a different kind of light maybe like old camaro like the 60's. i know someone did that on this board with some 68 camaro lights.

well, if that ugly line at the bottom wasnt there, and it had a 91-92 z28 spoiler, it might look alot different. that rs spoilers throws it off methinks.

I think your right. If you mold it in so you don't see any lines around it and go with the 91-92 high rise z28 spoiler. It might actualy look good. I think we might need a photoshop on this one. Adam :-)

its a cool idea on paper, but it just seems too gauddy on a car.

It's a Valid attempt at trying to fix the biggest eyesore these cars have.
(The Rear Lights) With a little modding to the plate it might not look so bad.

i like the tail lights on our cars. a cool cheap mod is to paint your amber section in the light red. takes $3 maybe and looks trick.

This may sound ridiculous,

But those Vette lights might flow better on a Trans AM rear,
more so than on a Camaro rear.. because of how the two cars
tail light designs flow.. The only possible reason why no one
has done that mod to a Firebird is rather obvious, lol

Who would but a Corvette style trademark on a Pontiac

would flow better with the trans am rear a lot better but would be a shame to ruin a nice pontiac

I had a little "fun" with photoshop and smoothed the edges so you can see what it would be like if it was installed "correctly".. With no gaps.. I personally think it looks alright...

Gotta dump the RS/IROC spoiler for that to look right, then it may not look bad.

After much fiddling with photoshop, I came up with this. Not perfect at all, but gives you an idea.

I'm bored at work so I did another one... Not that great, but gets the point across.. If someone with any sort of body skills took a crack at it, I bet it would look sweet! If you either moved the bumper inward(I don't know what's behind the plastic shell in the rear.. never taken it off) and if that wasn't possible, build up the rear behind the lights so that they were flush with the bumper. That's a really tempting project! I might try it in the next couple months..

Take the 0 out of the 305 and you got a deal. But you never what it looks like till you see it in person. I saw plenty of pictures of 4th gen dashes in 3rd cars. I never liked the way it looks. But then I saw my friends IROC with a 4th gen Camaro dash in it and it looks awsome! Now were going to be doing one in my car. You just never know what anything is going to look like till you see it in person. Adam :-)

I think grid taillights are dead sexy, they fit these cars perfect. But of course i hate the amber in them but thats an easy fix for me.

Round tail lights just dont work on these cars...

LOL, Vette tail lights and a Roll Pan, need to stop hanging out with the ***** truck crowd

The smoothed out looks so much better, but it still doesn't look right, IMHO.

holy crap! anyone else notice that looks like a second gen? the way you pulled the rear end back, and how its got the circular tailights, it kinda does look like a 2nd gen, even more so if you put on a hawks 5"er.
if someone did that, it might be kinda cool. id have to see it first though.

The same people that would put a Corvette trademark on a Camaro. I don't see a difference, same as people putting Iroc stickers on a berlinetta or GTA on a firebird. FWIW the stock taillights are perfect for these cars.
