Fog lights again!!
Fog lights again!!
Since my deal w/ the Z28 bowtie grille fell through I need to know how to install the foglights on the Sport Coupe grille w/o making it look too ghetto. I just need to know how I should go about cutting the grille, if I even should and then mounting them. Please help I'd like to be able to do this pretty soon!

Jason,
I just read about your grill fiasco this morning. Had I known about it before, I would have told you the SC front end/grills are different and not interchangeable with the RS/Z28 front end/grill.....
GM actually offered the factory fog lamps on the 1986 Sport Coupe and 1987 Sport Coupe with the LT option and the RPO 1SD option package. There is a unique grill with cutouts for factory fog lamps (GM #14080490). The lamps themselves are identical to the Z28/IROC-Z units, except they are mounted inversely (upside down if you will) on Sport Coupe specific brackets. Unfortunately, the brackets have been discontinued for years. Had I known, I just sold this grill and a pair of Sport Coupe brackets about six months ago. If you want to see pics of the brackets, I took them before I sold them. I can also scan a pic of the grill. Let me know if you want them.

Thanks Willie! Email me the pics of the SC foglight grille and the lights. All the pics you can of that. Then I can get a better idea of how to rig it up. I appreciate it.
