I'm ordering one. I already know what it sounds like, just curious to see what it'll look like.

They look great! One more question though. I've got a sport coupe so I don't have that lower ground effect on the rear. Will I be able to shorten the hangers easily to mount the tips about 2" higher so they don't look like they're floating in limbo?

That looks awesome. How do you keep your paint so shiny with that "wet" look?

I don't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to move the tips up about 2"......The paint is shiny because in the summer I usually polish or wax atleast once a week

Twick: What rims are those? I love them. And you say you polish or wax weekly? Isn't that bad for the paint? I heard you're supposed to wax every 2-3 months and earlier ruins the paint. I could be wrong though since you do it weekly and your car is beautiful.

I've got the hooker setup on my car too. I think it costs a little over $300. It sounds mean as hell on the highway and on the side roads. (Listen to this true story. I was at school on a Monday and had a bunch of my friends telling me about this car they heard drive by the day before while they were in the back of my friends yard and all agreed it was the sweetest sounding car they'd EVER heard. They ran out to see what the hell it was but the car was gone. It was me driving by seeing if they were around to show off my new exhaust but there wasn't any cars out front so I figured nobody was there and took off. They didn't believe it was me until I fired the car up after school that day and they just stood there in awe.)

As far as looks, as you can see, it look awesome, but the quality of the tips SUCKS. The crome constantly rusts and any time it rains the inside of the tips do too turning a brown rust color. I even wire wheeled the inside of the tips and painted them with high heat black paint. That only lasted until they got wet again...and chrome polish will take off the rust on the outside of the tips...for a while.

CT vs California may be a factor as well. We use quite a bit of road salt, which can really screw up any metal finish. If Mike used his car in winter weather, that might be the difference. Hopefully I won't have to drive the car much in winter weather.

Anybody else got pictures? Perhaps on a different color camaro or one without the ground effects?

Anyone have a sound clip? Thats the real question.

WE NEED SOUND! lol

Someone should compile a database of all sounds.

SLP, Hooker, Borla, etc.. with different headers. SLP w/ Borla, Headman w/ Hooker, Headman w/ Borla.. etc..
