well im always the type of person to stick with the origional color. The car would always be worth more. I do admit ,however, i havent seen many yellow thirdgens. Mine being only one of 2 in my town i should know. i would say in ur case its safe to do whatever u really want. It seems as if ur not keeping the car for its originality so a color change couldnt be the worst idea, but its ur call. if u get it done in yellow send me some pics, like i said i havent seen many yellow third gens.......especially birds.

That would be sweet lookin on a formula.

Just make sure that it is a high quality job... no maaco. Maaco yellow looks like crap.

Second that maaco paint comment. I talked to a paint shop w/ a good rep and he said to expect to spend 600 on materials.

Yellow is rare for thirdgens, but I think it's because the factory yellow was too faded looking. It was called Jamaica Yellow and was just too dull IMHO.

Brighter yellow with black windows and tops looks great! Showcar!

(On a side note, a Yellow 1992 Formula 350 with T-Tops is the rarest of the rare. Only 14 ever made, according to High Performance Pontiac. One yellow car I'd love to have!)
