HI everybody, my dad just gave mehis 1984 z28 and the body is immaculate, only one problem I hat the color coordination. it is that off white kinda color and gold ground effects, along with the black hood "louvers" anyways, one of the first appearance mods that I want is a paint job and I cannot decide what I want. so here is what I have narrowed it down to. Paint the whole thing white including louvers and put orange rally stripes down the middle kinda like the 1997 anniversary model. or paint it black and paint the louvers cherry or victory red. or paint the thing black and put a cowl hood on it and paint red rally stripes down the middle kind of the opposite of the 70 chevelle 454ss. anyways, let me know what you think and if you have any pics of cool color combos please post 'em.

:Yeah its not a chevy but damn how many 71' dusters have u seen in the streets.

 

I've always been a fan of that paint scheme. I would say keep the good looks of that paint (keep it vintage looking), but really beef up the motor. The perfect sleeper car tight there!

For the most part I dont really like cowl hoods.... but thats just me!!! (I have seen a few that look good...)

thanks a lot for all your guys' help!! My dad and I decide that we will paint it white with orange stripes because it will be in color coordination with all of the race cars we work on (hugger orange 1970 GTO and white with orange stripes 1957 chevy)
