Finally got her out in the sun... pics

First time in 3 months...I did all the paint and body work on this myself. With the help of KevinG, others on TGO, and autobody 101. I got the confidence to try it.

Its a good feeling driving it around knowing i painted it myself. Those that have done it know what im talking about. Ive turned wrenches for years. And have to say that painting a BLACK car has got to be one of the hardest things ive ever done.

Can't go wrong with black, an SS hood, and dark tint.

Thanks..yeah...the front end seems to take a beating on these cars. I still have to cut and buff the nose and ground effect. I needed a break from all the sanding.

The purple came out great on yours very slick. Those rims are one of my favorites.

I really like the stock IROCs on mine but i think some custom rims would be a nice change.

Thanks...i read about your hubcap accident that sucks! Your paint was so nice!

I drove this car on 1-4 for a few years before it was garaged. I was always getting hit by something. Those rock trucks...

Thanks..ive enjoyed the pics of your car. looking at all the nice paint jobs on f-bodys from this forum kept me motivated.

from what ive read there was roughly 2500 made with the 5.7 engine. I still have the original 5.7 on a stand in the garage.
