DUDE, OMFG your car is absolutely beautiful!!!

And really nice touch with incorporating your secondary color into the ground effects like that... never seen that before.. might just have to steal that idea when it comes time for my custom pain

Seriously dude, two thumbs way up!

BTW, any interior shots?

Yeah, not quite stock anymore! Its been a long road to get the car to this point and I really apperciate all the nice things said.

I do have some interior pics, and will also give a shot of the underhood as well. I will have to do this when I get home though.

Thanks again,
Brandon

My personal opinion is alot of our cars look funky with the black rims... but yours looks pretty damn sweet and sits on them well. Very sharp, the engine bay looks bad ***. I <3 ur car. NEVER SELL IT, BABY IT!

man i love your car I really like that color blue/teal you have going with the black, looks sleek. And the painted aero portions are exactly what i want to do, except with white neons instead of paint. I think it'd be pretty cool

Great looking ride!

I love the dark paint and wheels and how they contrast with the shiny wheel trim ring, headlights, and front marker lights. The only thing that breaks up this theme is the bright orange front/side marker lights. They seem out of place. Ever think of maybe swapping them out for a bright clear set?

I was wondering if anyone would catch the speedo, and I should have known that my TGO friends are eagle eyes . The speedo needle is caught on the center of the gauge overlay, and I just have really cared about speeds under 65 enough to tear it open again. My steering wheel is from Billet Accesories Direct (BAD), and i bought it when they first came out, and now four years later I too would like to change to a little more contemporary billet wheel. I am thinkign of using a full billet wheel with the center painted black, and polished outer ring - too look similar to my wheels.

The color of the stripes is a teal color. It is a factory gm color used on the Corvettes, and is very similar to the teal offered on the Camaros. I will try to get some pics up with the stripes in the sun so you can see them - they kind of disappear depending on what light and angle you are looking at it with.

Thanks again for the support.

Yeah, I am not really a fan of the clear marker lights. They would stick out like a sore thumb in the middle of that black panel. I have thought about sanding them smooth then smoking then very dark, so they almost look shaved. For now I think I will just leave them stock.

I believe i saw this car at the Super Chevy Show last year at bandamiere, two questions: Dont you have a fiberglass dashpad cover, and will you be in attendance again this year ?

Two answers:
Kinda - I have a dash cap that is smoothed and painted gloss black with the teal stripes running through the windshield. I screwed that one up and my new one is at the body shop as we type.
Yes - I plan on being there again this year. Look me up you should have a good idea on where I will be.

Hey is your name Keith? Red Iroc convertible with super charger? Showed there with me a couple years ago?

The orange doesn't stand out? The shiny wheel trim also stands out but looks really good. I just thought why have yet another colour on the side? This way it would match up. And I'm only talking about the front not the tailights (for those concerned about the import look). Just ideas.

I really like your idea of making them dark. That would be a nice stealthy look.
Again, awesome ride.

I hear what you are saying and agree that the orange sticks out too, but I just don't like the idea of them on my car. If my car was a light color I would already have them on. I will likely be smoking these very soon, and will post some pics.

I actually had the bowtie painted teal like the stripes on my old grille, and it did look very nice. I had planned on painting that again, but since my Drift R wheels have red in the center cap, and the polished calipers have red in the Baer logo, I have thought that it looks pretty good with just the little splash of red. I may go back and paint it again?

when you do that, post pics and a "how to" thread. i am thinking of doing this after paint, and im dumb when it comes to plastics and transparent paints.

I plan on showing both days at Super Chevy this year, so either day you show I should be there. The dash cap I will show you when I see you there. I plan on posting some pics when I get the new and improved version finished on the car. As far as the air cleaner lid - lots of armorall... J/K It has been smoothed and painted gloss black. Sounds like we will have a good turn out this year on 3gens.

Later,
Brandon

I totally agree. I always felt like clear side markers on a black car make them stand out more, and why do you want to draw attention to your side markers? With dark ones they blend in more and the attention is on the car where it should be.

Also i love the idea of the stripes on the hood extending into the car on the dash. I've never seen it before but it sounds sweet. Awesome car! its a work of art

Good looking car. How much of a drop did the new springs give you?

Thanks! You know I'm not sure. I had the pro- kit drop before the sportline springs, and measured before, but did not measure afterward (I was a little to excited with the new Baers, and springs). I'm sure you know that they are set for 1.75" drop. With my wheel and tire combo I don't think that there could be a better spring. They are a little sharp with the very thin tires, but overall handling is such an improvement I don't mind.

Amazing! I love how you complement each of the colors. Great job! I'd love to see some pictures of that dash cap as well.

Well I had some posted above, but I forgot that I could only post 3 pics, so they stole them from this thread. I will make a new thread with some pics from underhood very soon. I guess it would be best if I figured out how to host my pcis online
