Camaro Red Tail Light Mod, One Step Further
So, I always liked how the red tail light mod got rid of the amber turn signal, and changes it to red. Looks 100% better IMO.
But I just had to take it a step further and I rewired them to come on with the tail lights, and they still flash with the turn signals.

Certainly very clean looking but, something seems amiss.
It's probably just me but, w/o the black stripe there seems to be too much taillamp. I'm not saying it looks bad just, out of the 'norm' to make it seem like.. 'something is missing'... (I am aware not all had the strpe either)
Very clean and well done looking though.. especially the night shot.

yeah that is pretty awesome, if you could tell us how that would be nice otherwise we will have to try ourselves
Thats mine, my license plate frame fades from the top to the bottom if I dont have the lights on, if I have the lights on my license plate stays red. Im thinking of wiring the frame to my brakes and doing the tailight mod that you did.

I took off the 2 wire socket for the Turn Signal, and replaced it with a 3 wire socket.
I then took the Brown wire from the 3 wire socket, extended it, and spliced it into the brown wire for the License Plate light.
No it only flashes when I am signaling.

I think he was asking: If you have your brakes on, and also your turn signal, will the signal still blink? or does it stay solid?

Looks pretty cool. I wish there was a way to get an LED panel for our cars that would light up the entire lense evenly, that would make it look so much better.
