My new 85 roc

This is my 85 iroc-z 5.0 HO 5spd, Im 15 and this is my first car it needs a alot of work but I plan on keeping it for a long long time, and i dont plan on keeping it stock :P I got it about a month ago, it was sitting on some guys drive way for 9 years he worked up in the oil fields and was never home, ive seen it sitting there for yeaaars, as long as i can remeber so one time i asked him if he wanted to sell it, he was like yeah sure i asked how much he said 1000, i offered 700 and he took it, he would be kicking himself in the *** if he did alittle reserch to see these cars in this condition goin for 6 grand+ Im happy =P (considering this is in calgary--->Canada, there is very very little rust for the year of it)
Enjoy!

The louver broke off 3 days ago goin 140 down a highway =(

My new "Blazer" foglights from Canadian tire for $25, hooked up easy, new switch for my dash and i think look better placed inside then sticking out like stock

I love my interior, I just put the gauges in today.

Who would win? hmmmmmmmm

Stock Stock Stock.. i know, tell me what u think of it. Any ideas?
Tint and Exhaust within 2 weeks...

Looks good man, reminds me of my first car. I had an 87 Z28 that was in similar condition.

Take care of it, and don't try to drive it like you're Mario Andretti and wreck it doing something stupid. I'm surprised I didn't total my first car from all the dumb stuff I did.. heh.

i got those lights and mounted them like you did a while back. they really look good and i agree they look so much better back behind the grill instead of the stock location. thats why i set out to do mine like that. good idea!

btw the car looks great i really wanted a black 5-speed iroc b4 i got mine lol. the gauges look like a very clean install.

Right On!! My first ride was a '79 Chevy 2WD Pickup (and this was in '93) But it had a 350 and could BOIL some tires and SMOKE some Mustangs. I blew the motor in it and tore out the transmission. I would hate to see what I would have done to an IROC!!

Live and learn. Now I drive my Trans Am like a granny unless I'm on a caffeine high or a sugar buzz (or I'm trying to impress one of my buddies)
