Polishing A/C Accumilator Cannister
Has anybody done this? Is there a trick to removing it, and do you have to re-charge the system after you remove it?
Thanks for any input!

Definately have the system evacuated before removing the accumulator. It probably would not hurt to replace it since it is older. Are you running new refrigerant?I would replace it and polish it at the same time.

I polished mine and did not remove it to do so. Use Mothers Billet polish and soft terry cloth towel. Lots of elbow grease and you can get a great shine.
