Valvoline Max-Life commercial

Did anybody else see the Valvoline commercial with the CLEAN '89-'90 light blue RS? It came on once during Sundays Darlington race.

I think I did, is it the one where his wife is trying to sell all his stuff and goes to put a price on the car and he goes "I dont think so" I liked that one.

yea I saw it to. It was on during the Bristol race and I figued someone would comment on it. Every commercial should have a thirdgen in it

yeah she was going to try and sell that car for $2500.00. i was amazed at seeing a thirdgen on there..

but do you really think that stuff works. i might try it since my valve guides are wearing out. and i puff smoke when i start my car. so i might try it. and especially since they advertised a 3rd gen. but give some feed back on the product.

RARE-ROC, I just replied to your other posts about the oil.. If you do try it, be sure to let me (or us) know how it performs. I posted that it's just hype, but I'm still an open minded person.

Thanks to all that replied. I agree that more third-gens should be in commercials.
I just dropped five quarts of max-life in my '84 Z28. I'll report my findings next oil change.

I just saw that commercial the other day,,, was pretty good.

Valvoline Max-Life burns out the ehxaust just the same as regular oil,,,

3k miles & the maro still smokes like a MF in the morning just as it always did before using this "great" product

I'd assume on a less raggdy motor than mine,, it might improve something,,, but I don't see it happening

Just because I really don't care about the motor anymore,, I've now, along w/the Max Life, have added to the bew,, Smoke-B-Gone, Restore, & some CD-2 crap,,, I think there might be a quart of real oil in there still,,
but nothing,, has made a single improvement

(yes I realize new seals would cure the problem,,, but that involves actually working on the car )

All the money you spent on additives could have paid for the seals 3 fold.

She was going to sell it for $7500. I'd have to kill someone if they tries to sell my car.
