Does anyone know where I can get custom color paint in spray cans? My door sills have some discoloration and since they're not in a super noticeable spot I was considering giving them a good spray paint job. Problem is that although they're not in a super noticeable spot, I still want the paint to match as closely as possible to the original color so there's not a major color mismatch between the sills and the adjoining pieces. Are auto parts stores with paint shops able to put paint into the spray cans?? If so, I can just take my sill down and have a match done.

Any help or suggestions with this would be greatly appreciated!

Im pretty sure you can. Have you tried calling any paint stores?

Call them, they would be the type of paint store to be able to do it if any.

 

Look for colorite,they make oem paint for alot of cars/bikes etc.

 

Colorite is the way to go!!!!

 

for the same price as getting a custom color in a rattle can, im sure you can get a gravity feed hvlp gun off ebay (if you have an air compressor).

 

I have had good luck with paintscratch.com If you have the paint code for your car, they can exact match it in a spray can.

 

I have the original RPO sheet in the back "glove box". I know it has the body color paint code but does anyone know if the RPO sheet as the grey trim color code??
