The New "Shoes" Are On
Well, after waiting forever on the rims to be shipped down here, I finally got 'em slapped on. I'm diggin' em myself, but I just cant decide if it needs a drop or now. Lemme know what yall think.
ive only seen one other white iroc with the black and red pinstriping/badges. i love that combo so much! it looks great. the wheels look great too man. you should take some pics with the top down
Hey man those look awesome. What size are they, look like 18s to me but my eyes could be off. Did you get them off of eBay or buy them from a distributer? Definately look good though and I'd definately drop it around a inch to a inch and a half.

Thanks for the input guys. Yeah, they're the 18x8 chrome IROC wheels. I was afraid they'd look stupid without a drop on the car, but they came out pretty nice. They're actually the same overall diameter as the stock 16's with rubber. I dunno, we'll see. As far as puttin the top down, it's been colder than s**t here so I'll get some up eventually.

I'm not much on white cars or grey ones like the one I own, but that thing looks awesome. Maybe is't the combination of the top, strips, and wheels that make it look so good. Only wish they had those wheels with the double line. GOOD JOB.

I got the rims from a distributor. Actually I didn't even look on ebay, but I did get a pretty damn good price on everything. As far as the tips are concerned, I purchased them from the muffler shop that did all my exhaust work. The tips have the word "Silverline" written on the top. I'm not sure if that's the company that makes them or what. Anyways, thanks again guys for all the comments.

Well I did it. I purchased the Eibach Pro-Kit and installed the springs yesterday. Lemme know if you guys think there's any improvement. Oh yeah, and I decided to throw in a pic of my 2 babies together. Enjoy...

Re: The New "Shoes" Are On
Hey guys...Thanks for all the input. I'm pretty happy with the stance myself. I was actually expecting more of a drop due to the fact that the convertibles are heavier than an IROC coupe. As far as shocks and struts...I'm runnin' the 18 yr. old originals. lol They're not too bad actually. The car only has 38K miles on it too.

give it a few weeks , or a hundred miles or so. the car will get lower, new springs on all cars take some time to break in. u may even see another 1/2" being its a vert,

Re: The New "Shoes" Are On
As far as the before and after measurements, it has dropped about 3/4 of an inch. I do imagine it will seat and settle a little more. I contacted Eibach before ordering and the Sportlines are NOT recommended on the convertibles due to the weight. That's why I went with the Pro Kit. To the swede...I've been a fan of your roc for awhile now. Absolutely gorgeous car you got there bud! Thanks again for all the comments (good and bad). Everyone could use some constructive criticism.
