TA GTS black out ???

TA GTS black out ???
i have an 85 ta and i purchased a set of the gts black outs. i installed them and they look like crap. there is a .5 gap between the black out and the top of the light. what year tail light do these covers fit. I ordered the lights for my year but i think that they are wrong. any input would be great. thanks, Justin
