The humble beginnings...
So here is the new project, just to serve as a warning my gf took my keys with her so their aren't any pics that other exterior.

As you can see the paint is in major need of some love. But other than the paint shes pretty solid. Already has a rebuilt engine/tranny in her. No rust on the car at all, and pretty straight too.
After putting about $500 in the rear brakes, another $300 in suspension she will be road worthy. Besides that the goodies come later, but you can see what I'm starting with anyways.

Thanks!
I wanted to start with a good clean car that was as close to stock as possible... I don't think I could have gotten anything better or closer to what I wanted.
Shes never been beat, only two owners her whole life, and the last owner had her 10 years. The interior isn't really in bad shape, but the hatch was left open for a bit and the interior has that musty kinda smell. Other than that the seats aren't even torn up.
The engine and tranny were both rebuilt, and have about 30K km on them each. The brakes are the major problem right now, the rear ones practicly don't work at all they are so worn out. The front ones have already been replaced, but to get the new calipers, rotors, pads I'm looking at about $4-500 bucks (cdn). Also the rear end clunks a little bit, I'm assuming its the suspension on the passenger side, sounded like the control arm but I havn't had a chance to get right under her yet. Only had her two days now.
Lots of plans, and lots of time to complete it. I intend to have her done, and painted by summer 2007.
