There is nothing wrong with the question.
The years I know of having a spoiler like being asked is 70-73 Z28's.
One of my friends has a 71 with that spoiler. It's extremely similar to the 3 piece on the 3rdgen center except, it overlaps the quarters. If the stock one were extended in a similar fashion, it may not look too bad.

It would look pretty bad if you took the two outer/side parts of the spoiler. Unless you made your own pieces to go to the edges of the car. You could possibly modify a '67-69, a 70-73(the smaller one like your talking about), or even an 80's Monte Carlo spoiler to fit your car.
