The price for a couple clear coats?

How much should 2 clear coats of paint, painted on my car cost me?

About the same as a complete paint job.

depends on the clear. DBU makes a clear and its $300.00 for a gallon. And that doesnt enclude the hardner. Omni on the other hand is a little cheaper. But I agree, if your going to clear it, thats still alot of work.

Why would you want to add more clear to an older paint job. I can understand you prolly want more shine. But remember your gonna still have all the chips and deeper scratches that clear wont fill. I could understand if it was a brand new paint job with no imperfections. But as said it wont be cheap cause youve gott tape up the whole car like a complete paint job. Omni is good stuff, I use it at work. Lays out nice and buffs to a great shine.

clear can be expensive or cheap depending on it's purpose. i just paid $800+ for the 2 1/2 gallons i needed for all of my parts.

hope it's worth it..
