I have a 87 T-top green Camaro and I am trying to dicide on the theme of the paint in the engine bay and the exterior. Keep in mind: I dont have money to spend on body kits and wings, but I can do anything with paint. I was thinking of adapting a mustand Gt. 500 scheme with the hood and side stripes and chroming or painting it alluminum. Any thoughts?

Well, for the engine bay, you could either paint it black, or body color. I wouldn't put any chrome stuff on a thirdgen, it just doesn't look right...why a Mustang theme on a Camaro? Camaros have plenty of stripe options that look good...

 

Mustang theme on a Camaro, I know it sounds wierd. But what good paint scheme did a Camaro ever have?

 

heritage stripes, 25th aniversery themes (purple and silver stripe, green with gold stripe, white with hugger orange stripe, all with the amazing and infamous Heritage stripe)


dont be a **** , leave the rustang themes for the rustang. if you wanna ruin a perfectly good f body and put a rustang theme, then buy a damn rustang and watch camaro tail lights and then ask yourself.. "Was a Rustang color scheme really worth this?"
