my car was in a lil front end collison when i bought it. I already have the front bumper but need a fender and hood. If anyone is willing to sell im ready to buy. Also another question is after i fix it what color is really hot right now for our third gens. I was thinking all black but i also like red with the blackouted lights. any suggestions

what color is the car now? black out headlight are the way to go reguardless of the cars color, in my opinion, unless you are going the repaint the engine bay, unless the car is already black, stick with the same color. there is nothing more shabby looking that a car with a bitchen paint job and an off color engine bay.

Im a huge, huge, huge fan of black...but changing a car's color from its original can either make for a lot of work....or shitty job in which the bay and door jams and such wont match the new color. If you have the time and means to convert the entire car to black (or whatever color) Id do it. If you're just looking for a quick simple job, go with the original color.

Actually the black car with teal jams won't look bad as long as you add more teal, such as neons at the footpedals or for the guages. I personally don't care for neons but that wouldn't look too bad as long as you compliment it.

Unless you really plan on repainting the under the hood, I say stick with the original color and do the headlight pockets black. Would look good with the teal.

if the teal is in good conditions then a teal engine bay and door jams will actually accent black nicely. if its filthy beyond the point of being able to clean it or chipped and scratched then do any color but most deffinately use ppg or HOK paint. they seem to shine better and richer colors. also for black the dupont triple black is nice but it looks great with a few coats. if your going to do it tho make sure you get a few coats to really make the paint stand out and the base coat matters ALOT. Everyone likes black, they look good in silver, blue, some yellows, white and pearl. pearl is nice because its not quite white and it has alot of depth to it. if you've seen a pearl caddy go by you know what i mean.
there is a sticky on this page with the sole purpose of showing colors for ppl like you to reference off of so we dont always have the same "what color should i paint my car" threads. you should look in there there are some awesome pant jobs and most ppl gave the company and even the color code.

just a thought if you choose to keep the teal in the door jams and engine bay then go with two teal racing stripes. that would look incredible.

I'd keep the car it's original color, but (I dont know anything about paint) with more clear or something to give it more shine, like that constant wet look.
