they look great, even though the stock 91-92 are some of my favorites...

I will tell you right now they will fit with 275/40/17. That's what I'm running on my 17x9.5 ZR1's. As long as you have 2" spacers behind them they will work perfect. Dan keeps bugging me about those stupid tires and he SWEARS they rub on my car, even though he's never seen the car in person. I promise you AND him my tires do not rub.

No problem bro

*With brand new tires, you *MIGHT* see minimal rub at FULL-TURN. But when do you really drive with the full at full turn? Maybe once in a while when backing out of a parking space, but nothing serious enough to wear down the tread on the tires. And it would only rub on the inside edge of the tire, so it's nothing to be concerned about. I've only had mine rub ONCE and it was in this kind of circumstance, and I've had these wheels for a year now*

I used to have 17x9.5 ZR1 on my car, and I ran 275/40's all the way around with no rub! I even lowered my car with eibach Pro-kit, and the only rub was on full lock parking lot type turning - as Bluezee stated.

The car looks really sweet - Nice work!

The plastic liner is what rubbed on mine after lowered on full lock turn. it barely rubbed, basically looked like it polished the plastic.

sean you have to consider your car is way low. my car has the intrax spings and next time i see you ill let you look at my plastic inner fenders, they are pretty much gone on the top, now idk if your car is as low as mine but i only have 245/45/17 tires on the front and at the bottom of hills and big bumps it rubs the plastic and that stuff doesnt last very long lol.

You gotta take into consideration also that your wheels and his wheels have different backspacing PLUS he's using 2" spacers.

those zr1s look perfect sean, although i'm bias cuz i have a pair myself, haha.
However i like the slp ones for 3rd gens better, as to the fact that they have a deeper dish than the 4th gens, and the hyperblack is more low key. but then again they're only 8" wide...

next time i need tires, i'm sending two of my rims off to be widened 2 inches, then throwing some 285 kumho mx's on them.

you hit the 12s yet w/ that lt1?

camaro looks great!

what does tire size have to do with backspacing and spacers? A 275mm tire is recommended for a 9.5 inch rim. There's not much overhang on each side of the lip. Your getting back in to your old ways of talking before researching dantheman

I got excited when i seen the thread about ss wheels but i have the other ss wheels going on in the spring the 10 spoke ones. I love them. and 275/40-17 is the correct tire size as everyone else has told you. They look sharp though.

Anyways, You should get some custom center caps for those things. When I had mine made, I used the Corvette C4 emblem caps, and removed the emblems (they're just a sticker). I had red Z28 vinyl emblems made to fit into the grooves where the C4 emblems were. You should get something like "RS" or "Camaro" for those wheels. That would look awesome in that body color vinyl

i like the corvette emblems but it does kinda look off on a camaro, i put small chevy symbol decals i got from moultrie on my center caps and it looks awesome imo and considering all four were $2 really cant complain.

Those used to be the C4 Corvette emblem caps. I took off the emblems (they are just a sticker), and took them to a tint/vinyl shop and had them cut me out those stickers. It's just a red vinyl sticker in the correct "Z28" font, fit to sit in the lil' crevice where the old emblems used to be. Cost me $5

Those look really nice. Very clean looking car. I have a question, are those 9.5 all the way around or front only? And are you using 2 inch adapters all the way around?

I'm gonna be running a similar setup on my Z28 soon, same 17x9.5" wheels, same 2" spacers, but not decided on the tire size yet. I know 275's will fit but I was considering 265's front/rear. Got any new pics of the setup with 275's? I'm wondering how flush the tire will be against the lip of the fenders.
