The only people that can post comments on your page or make comments on your pictures are the people/bands you accept as friends. Keeping your profile private just prevents everyone that's not your friend from being able to see anything on your page at all except basically your main picture. Of course to see the rest of your pictures... the viewers have to have an account anyway... but they don't have to be your friend.

Ive never understood why people put their profile on private... unless they are hiding (for lack of a better word) from someone. Just too public of an idea to be so private. If that makes any sense.


Anyway, nice pictures. Lots of goodness to look at You're getting on up there in age I see. I'm surprised you can still turn a wrench.

myspace is a good way to stay in contact with friends from school, cause well hell about everyone has a myspace account now. so why not have a page? takes 30 minutes to set up if you suck with html. But the car is looking amazing and I already sent a request and was accepted. he could throw them up on a photobucket account but im sure max bandwidth would be surpassed quickly.

if you link your pictures from elsewhere it accounts for your monthly nabdwidth if they're veiwed. therefore if his profile was public everyone could view his pictures. but he has them uploaded to myspace instead of a remote host but like i said.

i know but it just takes so long... most of my pictures are 7.1. with my myspace page i can upload 30 at a time and i don't have to resize them. saves me so much time. as i said it's a thing of convenience as that's why i'm not on here much anymore as well. didn't think it would be a big debate, just trying to share some updated pictures over the last year

with that said i'm out... hope you enjoy the pictures, i'll get to the cardomain as soon as i can and update the two pages frequently over the next month so check back often. thanks for the kind words everyone.

Yea it amazes me that the thread is on it's second page and only 3 or 4 or the posts were in regards to the project itself.

I'm not sure why this has to be an issue. If you don't want to join to view the images, don't. There is no sense or benifit in complaining about it.
